ETV Endowment part of ‘Lift the Lowcountry’

  • Thursday, April 24, 2014

On May 6, public television and radio fans in South Carolina can pledge their support to their favorite programs.

The ETV Endowment of South Carolina, Inc. has partnered with Coastal Community Foundation to be included as a recipient non-profit during the S.C. Giving Day “Lift the Lowcountry.”

All online contributions given on this special day may be eligible for a portion of the approximately $1.5 million in matching funds raised for this special giving day.

Donors who wish to participate should visit www.ETVEndowment.org and click on the ‘Make a Donation’ link, where they will see an option to make a donation through the Coastal Community Foundation web page. All gifts must be made by credit or debit card to be eligible for the matching funds. Each gift is 100 percent tax deductible.

Founded in 1977, the Endowment is a nonprofit that exists solely to support ETV and ETV Radio’s programming.

The Endowment was awarded the 2014 Erin Hardwick Award for Nonprofit Excellence by the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO) in recognition for exceptional and ethical governance and management excellence. The recipients of the competitive award are considered to be among the best-run nonprofits in the state.

For questions, please contact Dawn Deck in the Endowment office at (864) 591-0046.
