Rowell, Dugger marry in spring ceremony

Whitney Nicole Rowell

Whitney Nicole Rowell and David Michael Dugger of Summerville were married on April 26 at Boone Hill United Methodist Church in Summerville.

The bride’s father, Marcus Rowell, gave her away in marriage. The Rev. Jenn Williams officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marcus and Jamie Rowell of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of James and Thelma Motts of Summerville and Lonnie and Etta Mae Rowell of Summerville.

The groom is the son of Susan Dugger and the late Mike Dugger of Summerville. He is the grandson of the late Unie and Clara Dugger of Lorain, Ohio and the late Claude and Katherine Odom of Charleston.

The bride wore a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding dress by Alfred Angelo.

Bethany Smith was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were sisters of the bride Jessica Rowell and Sarah Rowell. Lauren Postell was the flowergirl.

Jordan Dugger, the groom’s brother, was the best man. Gene Stair was the groomsman. Kobie Smalls was the ring bearer.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Summerville High School and attended Trident Technical College. She is employed by Bulldog Hiway Express.

The groom is a 2008 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2013 graduate of Wyo Tech in Blairsville, Pa. He is employed by Boeing in North Charleston.

The couple will make their home in Summerville.
