Green Wave golfer Christian Woods claimed the Summerville Country Club 2014 Menís Open Club Championship last month.
The 17-year-old golfer, a junior on the Summerville High School golf team, turned in rounds of 68 and 72 to force a tie with Miler course veteran Mike Mosley and then won a sudden-death playoff to claim the title.
Mike Cobb came in two strokes behind the leaders with a 142 score to place third in the Woods Flight.
Rounding out the top performances in the championship flight were Gary Hartmann (145), Ryan Castle (147), Chris Terry (150), Ryan Melton (156) and Rich OíBrien (157).
David Connor came in at 158 to place first in the Mickelson Flight.
Bob Asbell was a stroke behind to place second and Andrew Purcell and Mark Shaughnessy both came in at 160 to tie for third place.
Rounding out the top performances in the Mickelson Flight were David Terry (161), Jeff Haselden (162), Bob Burris (169), Chris Clayton (170), Allen Forde (171) and Patrick Pye (NC).
