Dr. Colleen Boylston started her North Charleston pediatric practice 10 years ago with five patients and her mom working the front office. Since then, Sweetgrass Pediatrics has expanded to Summerville and Moncks Corner, while the number of pediatricians will grow to 16 this summer.
“We are keeping up with the growth and needs of the community,” says Dr. Boylston.
Her practice reserves time for same-day sick visits, provides Spanish language services and accepts all insurance carriers, private and Medicaid. “Plus, our physicians are trained to care for high-risk infants, provide breastfeeding support and handle developmental delays, ADHD and adolescent care. We even have a board certified pediatric sports medicine doctor. Together this allows us to provide superior medical care and guidance from birth to college.
“People know we care about their children, and they tell others who come to see us, too.” Colleen Boylston, MD Medical School Creighton University Residency Medical University of South Carolina
