Provided Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire and Janet Elshazly

The Spotlight Concert Series continues May 25 with A Piano Salon, at 3 p.m. at the College of Charleston’s Cato Center (room 234).

The unusual piano duo recital features the Stoudenmire/Elshazly Duo performing works by Shostakovich, Guastavino and Gershwin in the first half of the program. Both performers, Dr. Myungsook Stoudenmire and Janet Elshazly, are on the music faculty at Charleston Southern University. Dr. Stoudenmire lives in Summerville.

Following intermission, Pleshakov/Wenther, a husband and wife duo, will perform works by Saint-Säens and Rachmaninoff.
