The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3433 invites you to attend Summerville’s Annual Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony will be held Monday May 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Parks Cemetery, also known as Summerville Cemetery.
Guest speaker, Rear Admiral Robert E. Besal (U.S. Navy Ret.) is an accomplished veteran with honors including the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, four awards of the Legion of Merit, two awards of the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism in aerial combat, the Bronze Star Medal, and three Air Medals.
Please join The VFW along with Disabled American Veterans Chapter 17, The American Legion Post 21, United States Submarines Veterans Inc., Veterans Affairs Officer Dorchester County, The Knights of Columbus Assembly 1900, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3433 Auxiliary, The Scottish American Military Society Post 1860 & Summerville Elks Lodge 2719 on Monday for a celebration of America’s heroes.
