Kathryn Hope Franks of Givhans and Matthew Blake Jenerette of Conway were married on May 17, 2014 at The Ruins of Old Sheldon Church in Yemassee with a reception at Richfield Plantation.
The bride’s father gave her away. Rev. Charles Hopkins officiated.
The bride is the daughter of George Edgar and Melanie Bryngelson Franks of Givhans. She is the granddaughter of the late Arthur Tuggle and Elaine Limehouse Bryngelson of Givhans and the late George Edgar and Lillian Lotz Franks of Summerville.
The groom is the son of Jerry Oren and Shawn Winburn Jenerette of Conway. He is the grandson of the late Johnnie Winburn and Joyce Vaught Winburn of Gallivants Ferry, the late Oren Jenerette of Gallivants Ferry, and Miriam Rogers Jenerette of Gallivants Ferry.
Kaci Jackson May and Seabrook Bryngelson Rhodes, cousins of the bride, were the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Amanda Myhren Bennett and Madeline Milford Feltman.
Jasmine Hope May and Anna Rose May were the flower girls.
Jerry Oren Jenerette, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Brady Jack Anderson, Isaac Christopher Hardee, David Michael Jordan and Daniel Bryan Winburn.
Jackson Tuggle May, Corbin Bradley May and Jeramy Ryan May were ring bearers.
Jennifer Leigh Moran and Sarah Patane Bryngelson, cousins of the bride, were greeters.
The bride wore a strapless sweetheart Parisian lace Isis gown with a sweep train and lace covered buttons.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Summerville High School, a 2010 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences, a 2011 graduate of College of Charleston with a M.B.A. in Finance, and a 2013 graduate of Clemson with a B.S. in Accounting. She is employed as a staff accountant in Athens, Ga.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Conway High School and a 2009 graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine with an expected graduation date of 2015.
The couple will honeymoon in the Bahamas. They will make their home in Athens, Ga.
