Trident, Summerville and Moncks Corner medical centers are celebrating EMS Appreciation Week. On Wednesday, May 21, EMS providers are asked to join an appreciation event at either medical center that includes lunch, a dunking booth, a DJ and a photo booth. The event will take place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at both locations.
The same event will also take place at Trident Medical Center on Thursday, May 22 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. These events are open to all EMS providers in appreciation of their public service and dedication to health in the Lowcountry.
EMS providers are vital to ensuring lifesaving care to those in need 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Access to quality emergency care dramatically improves the survival and recovery rate of those who experience sudden illness or injury. EMS providers consist of emergency physicians, emergency nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, firefighters, educators, and administrators.
EMS providers engage in thousands of hours of specialized training and continuing education to enhance their lifesaving skills. Trident Health is proud to participate in recognizing the value and essential role EMS providers provide each day in our hospitals.
