BB&T robbed at gunpoint (with photos)

The BB&T bank on Dorchester Road was robbed at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

According to Summerville Police Department Cpt. Jon Rogers, the suspect was descibed as a black male wearing all black clothing and a mask, heavy duty gloves, and was carrying a black handgun. He was approximately 58 and weighs around 160 pounds.

The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of cash in a gray four-door vehicle, possibly driven by a black female.

No injuries were reported.

Images of the suspect were recorded on surveillance video cameras. SPD is asking anyone with information on the incident to contact the department at 843-851-4100.
