STARTS (Students Turning to the Arts) is an eight day (half-day) summer arts program for current first and second grade students who live in the Dorchester District Two attendance area.
The students will explore four areas of art: music, drama, dance and visual arts. Certified teachers and/or local artists will teach the classes. This year’s program theme will be “It’s Always Better Together”.
The dates are June 16 – 26. The program hours are 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Monday – Thursday and the camp will be held at Rollings Middle School of the Arts. The cost per child is $95, which includes a specially designed program t-shirt. Spaces are still available, but enrollment is restricted to 80 applicants.
