Dr. Drew McPhail, Co-Chair of the Rotary Club’s Gift of Life Committee, has announced the reviving of the “Taste of the Town”. The event will be held Nov. 9 at Azalea Park in the historic district of Summerville. The event will start at 1 p.m. and end at 4 p.m.
“Taste of the Town” festivities include honoring U.S. Armed forces and Veterans. Wear your uniform or red, white and blue and join us in a support of and a salute to our U.S. Armed Forces and Veterans.
“Taste of the Town” will showcase some of Summerville’s finest eateries, local businesses and non-profits. The event will have live music and entertainment, a kids’ zone and contests. This will be a patriotic fun filled day for the entire family.

The Rotary Club of Summerville is a non-profit organization that participates in local and global efforts. All proceeds from this event will be allocated to the Gift of Life (GOL) Program. Since the inception of GOL, the money raised has saved over 10,000 children’s lives with life saving, life altering surgeries.
