Authorities are searching for a man who killed another man at a Lincolnville home Saturday night.
Charleston County Sheriff's deputies say they responded to 110 Big Oak Lane at about 9:24 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting. Deputies found a black male who had been shot by an unknown suspect while he was inside the home, Maj. Eric Watson said.
The victim was taken to Trident Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released. Watson said they don't have a motive for the shooting at this time.
The suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-10, 150 pounds, 30 to 35 years old. He wore black pants and a black shirt and left the scene in an unknown direction. The slaying is the 10th homicide in Charleston County since April 25. There have been 18 for the entire year.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Charleston County Sheriff's Office at 843-203-1700.
