Pinewood student claims multiple awards

Provided McKenna Rossomme earned several prizes at the Region 12 Arabian Horse Championship.

Pinewood seventh-grader McKenna Rossomme recently competed in one of the top Arabian Horse shows in the country.

Earlier this month, Rossomme competed in the Region 12 Arabian Horse Championship held in Perry, Ga.

Region 12 is the largest region in the country, encompassing seven states from North Carolina to Mississippi.

McKenna’s hard work and dedication paid off as she brought home the Champion prize for the Western Pleasure Age 13 and under division. She also received Reserve Championship honors in the Western 18 and under, JOTR, Sport horse in hand and dressage divisions along with two Top 5 awards for Showmanship and Sport horse-hunter.
