Registration open for Girls Golf of Charleston

The Golf Club at Wescott Plantation is taking registrations for its Girls Golf of Charleston summer program.

Instructed by Perry Green, the club’s PGA Certified Professional Director of Instruction, the program is now in partnership with the LPGA, USAG and First Tee of Greater Charleston.

It is designed for girls age 7 to 17. Week 1 of the program is scheduled for June 9-13 and Week 2 is scheduled for July 7-11.

Fees are $100 for one week or $140 for both weeks.

Each day a clinic for players age 12-17 will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. The clinic will be followed by rounds of golf from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and lunch.

A clinic for players age 7-11 will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and will be followed by lunch and team golf from 1-2 p.m.
