Summerville, Goose Creek searches net 4 drug arrests

The Drug Enforcement Unit of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested four and issued arrest warrants for two following the execution of search warrants at four different locations in Summerville, Hanahan and Goose Creek.

A press release sent by the agency Friday did not say whether the cases are related to each other.

The searches took place Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4.

Two suspects remain at large.Arrest warrents were issued for David John Davies, 44, of 102 Iron Road, Summerville, for distribution of heroin and Deandris Dmario Jenikins, 31, of 1147 Deerberry Road, Hanahan, for distribution of marijuana.

In the press release, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Capt. Mike Williams said search warrants were also executed at 110 Carriage Lane in the Summerville area and 1218 Redbank Rd Unit 3 in the Goose Creek area resulting in the arrest of four suspects.

Demar Bacon, 28, of North Charleston was charged with possession of cocaine, obstruction of justice and simple possession of marijuana.

Irving Smith, 31, of Goose Creek is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of stolen property and simple possession of marijuana.

Pierre King, 31, of Hanahan is charged with simple possession of marijuana.

Joshua Allan Fisher, 18, of Summerville is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and two counts of distribution of marijuana after agents made two controlled purchases at the Carriage Lane address.
