Provided Pinewood Prep graduate Joel Roberts received one of two awards presented during the Presbyterian College Menís Tennis Banquet held last month. After breaking into the teamís lineup as a freshman this year, Roberts worked his way up to the No. 2 singles spot and played in No. 1 doubles matches to help Presbyterian claim the Big South Conference regular season championship. His work and the leadership he provided on and off the court led to him receiving the Blue Hose Coaches Award. PC finished the season with a 25-7 record, a school Division I record for wins in a season.
