Midland Park yard sale June 14

  • Friday, June 6, 2014

Midland Park Community Ministries, MPCM, invites the community to its first annual yard sale on Saturday, June 14, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The sale will take place at 2427 Midland Park Road in North Charleston.

This is a wonderful time to clean out spare bedrooms, closets, garages and storage sheds for a cause that will make a difference in the lives of so many. A variety of items including small household merchandise, children’s furniture, business equipment, dishes, bedding, automotive supplies and much more will be available. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to spend some time at the Ministry Center,” MPCM Director Toby Brown said. “Stop by, meet new friends and have something to eat. It’s Father’s Day weekend so come purposed to find something for the special folks in your life. This is a good reason to clean. We are looking for gently used items; please call us with your questions about specific items.”

Attendees must transfer the items they purchase.

Last year, almost 4,000 residents received emergency assistance. The community’s support of this event will enable MPCM to continue to help those in need.

If you can’t attend, consider making a financial donation or bringing items to the yard sale. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be used to support ministry programs. For more information on the event, making a donation, bringing items or volunteering, call (843) 553-2012.
