Traffic is being diverted in the Archdale subdivision after construction crews hit a four-inch gas line.

Ashley River Fire Department Fire Chief Scott Inabinet said Dorchester Road is still accessible, but access to Archdale Boulevard is limited. SCE&G reported its crews are on the scene making repairs.

Dorchester County Emergency Mangement says no evacuations have been ordered but it asks the public to avoid the area.
