Parrish Ella Wood of Rock Hill and Joshua Allen Kline of Rock Hill were married on April 27, 2014 at the Creek Club at I’On in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
The bride was given away by her father’s brother Stephen Wood. Matthew Moye officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Joan Disher Wood and the late David William Wood of Summerville. She is the granddaughter of the late John Henry Disher and Naomi Parrish Disher of Charleston, and Doris Wood Pippert and the late Elvin Earl Wood of Vinton, Iowa.
The groom is the son of Jeffery Allen Kline of Rock Hill and Sherry Lynn Kline of Syracuse, N.Y. He is the grandson of Raymond Stanton Shelmandine, Jr. and the late Martha Gail Shelmandine of Syracuse, N.Y., and Daniel David Kline and the late Clara Rose Kline of Williamsport, Penn.
Melany Shaw of York was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mandie Gulley of Auburn, Ala., Kyrie Kline of Syracuse, N.Y. and Ashley Krisel of Charlotte, N.C.
Grace Popelka of Mt. Pleasant was the flower girl.
Jeffery Allen Kline, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Billy Beacham of Onondaga, N.Y, Josh Foster of Frederick, Md. and Evan Thompson of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.
The bride wore an ivory satin trumpet gown with a sweetheart neckline, beaded lace applique down the right side, a ruched bodice with slim silhouette and lace up corseted back.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Summerville High School, a 2005 graduate of Winthrop University and a 2009 graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. She is employed at Rock Hill Animal Hospital in Rock Hill.
The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of LaFayette Jr. and Sr. High School.
The couple’s honeymoon was at the Sandos Caracol Eco Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The couple will make their home in Rock Hill, S.C.
