On Wednesday afternoon of June 11th, vapor spouting beakers, flash fires and mounds of spewing bubbles transformed the Seago Library Branch into a mini-laboratory. Approximately 130 kids packed the library and were spellbound as the magic of science enhanced the stories told. Dorchester County Library hosted the Sciencetellers to kick off its summer reading programs. Sciencetellers performers combined storytelling, comedy, and exciting science experiments into a dynamic and highly interactive learning experience. As they told us, “If you’re in the room, you’re part of the story.” It was a wild but wonderful hour that everyone enjoyed.
