South Carolina Libertarians Make Selections

On June 21, 2014, the South Carolina Libertarian Party held its nomination convention and nominated the following federal and state officers—

Federal officers:

Victor Kocher for US Senate

Curtis E. McLaughlin for US House of Representatives District 4

Kevin R. Umbaugh for US House of Representatives District 6



State officers:

Steve French for Governor

Travis McCurry for State House of Representatives District 3 (Pickens)

Jeremy C. Walters for State House of Representatives District 26 (York)

Rodney Travis for State House of Representatives District 109 (Charleston, Dorchester)

Colin Ross for State House of Representatives District 119 (Charleston)

Kevin Beck for Probate Judge (Edgefield)

The delegates had the option to vote “None of the Above” for any office and if “None of the Above” received more votes than any candidate, then those candidates would not be allowed by State Law to appear on the General Election ballot.
