Aussie is a 3 year old spayed female Domestic Shorthair Tuxedo. She is so tiny that she looks like a kitten! She is a ball of energy and will play with you for hours. She is sweet, fun and happy.
Molly is heartworm positive and needs to go through heartworm treatment. We are currently looking for a foster home for Molly so that she can go through heartworm treatment. Dogs need to live in a home environment to go through this process. The cost of this treatment is paid for with our Foster Medical Funds. If you are interested in fostering Molly you can call the Foster Program coordinator at 843-873-5918 or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org. Molly weighs 24 pounds. She has come a long way. At first we thought she might be dog aggressive but after spending time evaluating her, we figured out that she was just afraid. We have been working with her and she has successfully participated in the Bully Walk and an adoption event. As long as she is introduced properly, with a strong leader, she does great with other dogs. Molly looks forward to her walks each day and also loves to run in the play yard. When you come to visit her you will notice that she is “barky” behind her cage door but once she gets out, she quiets down. Molly is very smart and needs a leader who is smart and confident.
The Frances R. Willis SPCA is open Mon-Tues 12-5, Thurs 12-6, Fri 11-6, Sat-Sun 10-5. We are closed on Wednesdays. You can view all of the adoptable pets online at www.summervillespca.org.
