A family of owls has taken up residence in the backyard of Dr. Joe Ewens, who lives near Summerville Country Club.

Ewens said there are four babies who have quickly grown to near full size. One fell out of the nest, he said, but Bray Blanton at the club built a wooden nest for the baby and the mother continued to feed it. Ewens captured these images. The photograph of two owls shows the mother on the left with one of the babies on the right.
