  • Monday, July 21, 2014

Looking for a fun, family-oriented way to show love to law enforcement?

Come on out to the ball park at Joe Riley Stadium, home of the Riverdogs, Tuesday, August 12, for Law Enforcement Appreciation Night. The South Carolina Highway Patrol will slug it out with the Georgia Highway Patrol in a charity softball game to benefit the Special Olympics. First pitch is at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Riverdogs game at 7:05 p.m.

“You can’t beat the ticket price of $5 per person to watch some awesome athletes in action and meet MLB player, Orlando “O-Dog” Hudson,” SCHP Spokesman Sgt Bob Beres said. “Come out for a night of fellowship, fun, and support our troopers and this great cause! It’s sure to be a hit!”

Tickets are available at Crews Chevrolet, 8199 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, or at the gate.
