Hannah Lauren Davis of Rural Hall, North Carolina and John Blake Eidson of Summerville, South Carolina were married on July 20, 2014 at the Pavilion at Pepper Plantation in Awendaw, South Carolina with reception following. Reverend Brandon Bowers and Dr. Joe Wren presided over the ceremony. Andrew Kerr and Ben Linnerud provided acoustic music accompanied with the soloist Jeslyn Lanier.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Davis of Rural Hall, North Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Estelle Brown and the late Paul Brown of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Geneva Bennet and the late Joseph Davis of Atlanta, Georgia.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Eidson of Summerville, South Carolina. He is the grandson of Dennis and Eleanor Eidson of Palm Coast, Florida and the late Doris Talbert and James Talbert, Sr. of Lancaster, South Carolina.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The bride wore a Swiss dot tulle empire waist soft wedding gown. Ashlyn Alkema was the maid of honor. The bride attendants were Kristen Hagwood, Jasmine Easterlin, the groomís sisters Heather Hart and Lori Anderson, the groomís sister-in-law, Ashley Bowers, and the brideís sisters Amanda Davis and Christina Davis. They each wore a one-shoulder sleeveless coral ruffle empire long chiffon dress. The groomís nieces, Kennedy Hart, Brinkley Bowers, and Paige Anderson were the flower girls.
First Lieutenant Seth Warner served as the best man. The groomsmen were Bryant Blanton, William Norris, Christian Johnson, Scott Hamilton, Scott Cantrell, and the groomís brothers-in-law, Major Jason Hart and Captain Andrew Anderson. The groomís nephews, Brailey Bowers, Bryson Bowers, and Deacon Hart were the junior groomsmen.
The bride is a graduate of North Forsyth High School and holds a bachelorís degree in Elementary Education from Charleston Southern University. She is currently a fourth grade teacher at Summerville Elementary School. The groom is also a graduate of Charleston Southern University and holds a bachelorís degree in Kinesiology. He is currently coaching at Ashley Ridge High School and is pursing a teaching career.
After a surprise honeymoon, the newlyweds will reside in Summerville, South Carolina.
