As the summer holiday winds down, kids have at least one more opportunity to have some fun on the Doty Park tennis courts.

The park has hosted several well-attended camps this summer as well as youth leagues. The Town of Summervilleís final youth camp of the summer is scheduled for Aug. 4-7.

Designed for those age 6 and up, the camp will run from 8-11:30 a.m. and incorporate activities for both experienced tennis players and youth new to the sport, as well as those in between. From games designed to help with basic skills to spirited scrimmages, the camp has something for all youngsters interested in the game.

The fee for each session is $115 and includes snacks and a Thursday pizza party. A $50 deposit is required at the time of registration. For information on the final camp or next summerís activities at Doty Park, visit www.summerville.sc.us or call Nancy Sumersett or Eric Davis at 851-5211.
