Summerville Police say the South State Bank at 402 North Main St. was robbed about 10:15 this morning.† Police say a white man with an olive complexion, about 50 to 60 years old, walked into the bank, pointed a handgun at the teller and demanded money, He was dressed in a dark colored suit and hat, according to police. † If anyone has any information regarding to this incident or the identity of the suspect, please contact the Summerville Police Department at 843-851-4100 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
