A guilty plea is sending a local man to prison for 35 years on five burglary charges, the 1st Circuit Solicitor’s Office announced Thursday.
William Henry Strickland IV, 41, pleaded guilty. His trial was to start next week.
The solicitor’s office said Strickland was responsible for a series of burglaries in April and May 2013.
He already had convictions for second-degree burglary, the solicitor’s office said.
