Summerville Police say bank robbery suspect Christopher Adam Mitchell was taken into custody today in North Charleston. Mitchell was wanted on a charge of entering a financial institution with the intent to steal. Police say a man entered the South State Bank about 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, pointed a gun at the teller and demanded money. Police asked for the public's help locating Mitchell, calling him armed and dangerous. Summerville Police Capt. Jon Rogers said the U.S. Marshals assisted in Mitchell's arrest. †
