DCSO investigating shooting

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office is currently looking for two men in connection with a shooting that occurred Thursday night.

According to a DCSO incident report, deputies responded to a call at about 9:50 p.m. Thursday in reference to a shooting at 922 Margaret Drive in Ladson. Deputies arrived on the scene and found 26 year old Shantwan Jamal Hoard lying in the driveway bleeding from several gunshot wounds; several people were standing around him.

When asked who shot him, Hoard stated that two individuals did the shooting. Hoard was treated at the scene and transported by Dorchester County EMS to MUSC, according to the report.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing, according to DCSO officials.
