Green Wave pushes back scrimmage

File Summerville will have its first home scrimmage of the preseason Tuesday morning when it hosts Manning at Memorial Stadium. The Green Wave will also host Beaufort at the stadium Aug. 15.

Summerville’s first home scrimmage of the preseason has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Aug. 12.

The scrimmage was originally scheduled for Tuesday morning but Manning coaches requested it be pushed back until later in the day. The scrimmage will still be held at Memorial Stadium.

The Green Wave will also host Beaufort for a scrimmage at the stadium Aug. 15.

Ashley Ridge will host scrimmages with Bambert-Ehrhardt at 6 p.m. Tuesday and Colleton County at 6 p.m. Aug. 15. Both scrimmages will be held at the high school.

Fort Dorchester will host a scrimmage with James Island at 7 p.m. Aug. 15. The event will either be held at Bagwell Stadium or one of the school’s practice fields.
