Meteorologist Rob Fowler will give a presentation about Hurricane Hugo at the Summerville Dorchester Museumís special Third Thursday program.
The presentation is part of an ongoing series of events scheduled by the museum during downtown Summervilleís Third Thursday events.
Fowler, who has been Chief Meteorologist for Storm Team 2 since 1997, was named Meteorologist of the Year by the National Weather Association following his coverage of Hurricane Hugo.
The event will also feature culinary treats by Chef Toni Scott as well as the folk music of Fleming Moore. The event will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 17 in the Summerville Dorchester Museum.
