Saloma “Pat” Shealy Kinnamon, 86, of Charlotte, formerly of Summerville, SC, passed peacefully at home the afternoon of August 6, 2014.
She was born in Chapin, SC, on November 12, 1927, to Lonnie and Inez Shealy. She graduated from Winthrop College with a degree in Voice and Early Education.
She taught first grade and later created an independent Kindergarten in Tega Cay, SC.
In her 50s, she became a certified massage therapist, trained as a Well-Springs facilitator and became the National Director of the Well-Springs program.
She is survived by spouse George Kinnamon and daughters Kamera Hutchens, Karyn Draper, Susan Kinnamon Brock; sister, Frances Knight nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents, sister Eleanor West and brother Leonard Shealy.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 30 at 11:00 am in Summerville, SC, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
