Shots fired reported in Ladson

Dorchester County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a shots fired call in Ladson early this morning.

According to a Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office incident report, the call came in around 3:15 this morning in reference to shots fired in the area of Margaret Drive and Mickler Drive.

Deputies responding to the call spoke to two victims, who stated that a vehicle and the residence, located on Margaret Drive, were hit by bullets. Deputies found multiple shell casings on Margaret Drive and on Lantern Drive but were unable to find or identify any suspects, according to the report.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, according to the report.

This is the second shooting incident in less than a month on Margaret Drive; an incident that occurred Aug. 8 left one man wounded.

Both incidents are under investigation.
