Summerville ABCC to host Second Annual “Critique My Antique” Event

The Arts Business Civic Coalition of Summerville/Dorchester Co. is assembling a team of local and regional antique experts for the second annual “Critique My Antique” Event, from 1pm – 5pm on Sunday, January 15th at the Summerville High School cafeteria.  A verbal evaluation of all varieties of antiques and collectibles will be available for $10 per item.  Organizers of the event ask that items be restricted to a size that can be carried by one person.  

Tickets are available in advance at First Citizen’s Summerville Branch locations, online at www.ABCCsummerville.org, or by calling 843-225-2789.  Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event.  So make plans to get a “verdict on your vintage”!

Appraisers for a variety of categories will include:

Civil War * Glass & Crystal * Costume Jewelry * Metal & Sculpture    * Paintings & Print     * Fine Jewelry     * Porcelain * Silver * Books * Textiles

The “Critique My Antique” Event is one of a series of fundraisers organized by the ABCC.  Proceeds will support the development of a civic-business center in the Summerville community.
