Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union recently announced the promotion of Steve Wichmann from Senior Vice President of Operations & Lending to Executive Vice President of the credit union.
Mr. Wichmann, of Summerville, joined Heritage Trust in 2005 and has been instrumental in restructuring both the lending and operations areas of the organization. He was previously with Palmetto Citizens Federal Credit Union in Columbia.
Steve currently serves as President of the South Carolina Credit Union Managers Association, is on the Political Action Committee for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions and is the past President of the Mortgage Lenders Association of Greater Charleston.
He also serves as a volunteer counselor for Employers Support of the Guard and Reserves (ESGR) and is very involved in local community outreach efforts.
