Debbie Smith from the Department of Social Services was the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Summerville meeting on July 21. The club meets Wednesdays at 12:30 pm at Sticky Fingers.

The Rotary Club of Summerville gave two scholarships to local students this year. At the July 21 meeting, Jon Presley introduced one recipient, Kaylie Fehr who attended Summerville High School and will be attending Clemson in the fall. The other recipient, Joshua Blease, who also attended SHS and will be attending USC in the fall was unable to attend the meeting.
