South Carolina Federal Credit Union will serve as the 2012 title sponsor for Charleston Coastal Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) for the third consecutive year.

As title sponsor, South Carolina Federal representatives have the opportunity to attend SCORE seminars, contribute speakers from its Business Services division as needed and lend support for SCORE’s media, advertising and collateral needs.

“SCORE serves our next generation of entrepreneurs and small business is key to the economic success of our region,” said South Carolina Federal Credit Union President & CEO Scott Woods.

SCORE’s mission is “to provide professional management assistance to small businesses through the voluntary service of its members, who freely give of their knowledge, expertise and experience, with the ultimate goal of improving the economy and community which we serve.”  Since 1964, SCORE has been the premier small business mentoring service in the U.S.
