Showa Denko Carbon in Ridgeville has announced management promotions and transitions that are taking place during the first two weeks of January.
The announcements
• John Cline, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Showa Denko Carbon, Inc., and President and CEO, Showa Denko Carbon Sales, Inc. is promoted to the position of Sr. Vice President Sales & Marketing, Showa Denko Carbon, Inc. He will continue to serve also as President and CEO of Showa Denko Carbon Sales.
• Dan Pascazio, Vice President Technical, is promoted to the position of Senior Vice President Technical and Production.
• Greg Ruffing, Manager of Information Technology, is promoted to the position of Vice President Process Engineering and Information Technology.
• Andy Nielsen, Senior Vice President Operations, transitions to Senior Vice President Maintenance and Engineering.
• Jeff Pastorius, Manager Domestic Sales and Technical Services, is promoted to the position of General Manager Sales and Technical Services and SDKC Management Committee.
• Brad Canaday, General & Cost Accountant is promoted to SDKC Management Committee.
• Tim Braden, Manager of Operations Planning & Logistics and Supply Chain Management is promoted to the position of General Manager – Production and SDKC Management Committee.
• John Bethea, Manager Operations Area I, will transition to Manager of Operations Planning, Customer Service and Import/Export Control.
• Glover Pinckney, Production Supervisor is promoted to the position of Manager Production Area III.
• Jamie Walters, Production Supervisor is promoted to the position of Manager Production Area I.
These changes will ensure better coordination and more efficient operations of the business.
