Allen, Stabler engagement announced

Mr. and Mrs. William Allen of Florence, SC, announce the engagement of their daughter,

Meredith Emily Allen, to Christopher Alan Stabler, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Stabler of Summerville, SC.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of King’s Academy; a 2007 graduate of Clemson University and a 2009 graduate of The Medical University of South Carolina with a degree in speech pathology.

The bride-elect currently works for Speech Works in Columbia, SC.

The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2008 graduate of

Clemson University.  He will receive his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University in May, 2010, and has accepted a position with Exxon in Houston, TX.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bristow of Bennettsville, SC, and Mrs. Mattie Allen and the late Mr. Charles Allen of

Bennettsville, SC.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carichner of Hughesville, PA, and Mr. Richard Wilkinson of Dorchester, SC, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Stabler of Montoursvile, PA.

The wedding will be May 29, 2010 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Florence, SC.
