LaVigne, Brown wed in local ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Adam Brown

Mr. and Mrs. Mark LaVigne of Summerville, South Carolina are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter Alyson to Adam Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Lott of Summerville, South Carolina and Mr. and Mrs. Dondi Brown of Calhoun Falls, South Carolina.

The couple wed at Old Fort Baptist Church in Summerville on Saturday, August 6, 2011.

The bride was attended by matrons of honor Ashlee LaVigne Pittman and Megan Blanton; and bridesmaids Mary Ellen Bequette,

Laura Buddin, Jennifer Lott Daley, Amanda LaVigne, Lisa Yaxis

The flower girls were Chloe LaVigne and Sullivan Grace Pittman.

The groom’s best man was Cory Brown. Serving as groomsmen were Donald Janney, Aaron LaVigne, Travis Pittman, Matthew Spivey and Jeffrey Stanek.

The Ring Bearers were Owen LaVigne and Campbell Pittman.

The bride is the granddaughter of Ms. Joyce LaVigne and the late

Mr. Robert LaVigne; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert LaBounty.

The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Pruitt, Ms. Shirley Brown and the late Mr. Gerald Royce Brown.

Following the ceremony, guests celebrated with the happy couple at the Charleston Club on Charleston Air Force Base. The bride and groom were sent off by their guests amid a waving of ribbon wands and good wishes.

The couple honeymooned in San Diego, California.

Mr. and Mrs. Adam Brown now reside in Louisburg, North Carolina. Alyson is employed at Creedmoor Centre Medical Associates as a medical assistant and Adam is an assistant baseball coach at Louisburg College.
