Crystal Collins Meyer, of Summerville, S.C., formerly of Oxnard, Calif., was married to John Wilson Schulze, Jr., of Summerville, on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009. The outdoor wedding was held at the home of Mrs. John Wilson Schulze under an old bent oak tree, with ferns, ivy, and snapdragons.
The bride was given in marriage by her son Master Andrew Meyer. The marriage was performed by Bruce Woody, of the Crystal Ice House in Summerville.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Collins, of Summerville, formerly of Oxnard.
The groom is the son of Sandra Schulze and the late John Wilson Schulze of Summerville.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Collins, David Cal Collins, brother of the bride and Miss Gina Norton. Also present were Shannon Chinners, sister of the groom and Marilyn Chinners, niece of the groom, and Shane Vaughn, son of the groom.
Mr. Schulze attended Trident Technical College and the College of Charleston, and is a Senior Systems Administrator with IQOR of New York City.
The bride is working toward a Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology.
The couple will reside in Ridgeville, S.C.
