Lt. and Mrs. Zachary Blake Schaeffer

Caroline Louise Mojonnier and Lt. Zachary Blake Schaeffer were united in marriage with a full military ceremony on Dec. 19, 2009 at Old St. Andrew’s Parish Church in Charleston, SC

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John (Barbara) Mojonnier of Summerville, SC and the granddaughter of Ruth Brownawell and the late Mr. Robert Brownawell of Wayzata, MN; and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Mojonnier of River Forest, IL.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim (Ann) Schaeffer of Medford Lakes, NJ and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allen Klinger of Ashland, PA and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Schaeffer of Donaldson, PA.

The Rev. Marshall Huey performed the ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Serving as Maid of Honor was Virginia McCormack of New York City, NY. Bridesmaids were Miranda Villei of Allentown, PA; Shaina Boone of Chicago, IL and Danielle Mojonnier of Greenland, NH.

The women of the wedding party wore knee-length taffeta halter-top gowns and carried bouquets of ivory and peach roses with hydrangeas and ivy.

Hostesses were Elizabeth Byrd of Charleston and Alden Knowlton of Washington DC.

Brandon Schaeffer of Fort Mill, SC served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Corey Kosch of Rochester, MI; Ben Schmidt of Champaign, IL and Gordon Barfield of Ft. Benning, GA.

Sabre Bearers were Taylor Duke of Ft. Benning, GA; John Piccione of Ft. Benning, GA; Seth Curry of Ft. Benning, GA; and Phil Sohn of Ft. Rucker, AL.

The couple will reside in Vilseck, Germany.
