Polk, Reason wed at Magnolia Gardens

Mr. and Mrs. Shelby S. Reason

Leah Corrine Polk of Summerville, South Carolina and Shelby S. Reason of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina were married September 4, 2011 at Magnolia Gardens.

Dr. Robert Howell officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Austin Polk of Summerville.

She was given in marriage by her father.

The groom is the son of Mr. Richard Robert Reason of Summerville.

The bride’s sister, Kelly Polk McDonald, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Tyler Pool, cousin of the bride, and Susan Shealy O'Cain, friend of the bride.

The flower girl was Tyler Olivia Pool, cousin of the bride.

The groom’s best man was Jeffrey Alan Sanford, a friend of the groom

Groomsmen were Jessea Dylan James, friend of the groom, and Blake Austin Polk, brother of the bride.

The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Emma Louise Reynolds and the late Mr. Kenneth Reynolds of Lamar, South Carolina; and the late Mr. and Mrs. O.M. Polk of Effingham, South Carolina.

The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ivey Looper of Lenoir, North Carolina; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reason of Lenox, Iowa.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nevada and will make their home in Summerville.
