Meredith Laine Raynor and Michael Lee Crawford were married May 22 in a ceremony at Cypress Trees Plantation in Edisto Island, South Carolina. The Rev. Michael Lumpkin, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jet B. Raynor, Jr. of Summerville, South Carolina. Her father gave her in marriage.
The Groom is the son of the Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Edward Crawford, of Santee, South Carolina.
The bride wore an ivory silk shantung designer gown that was strapless, with a sweetheart neckline with layered tiers and covered buttons the length of the back and train. The dress was accented with a champagne-colored silk sash and a silk fingertip veil. She had a bouquet of lilies, parrot tulips, anemone, roses and gardenias.
The maid of honor was Jeanne Lumpkin, and the bridesmaids were Cathy Reynolds, Joanie Saunders and Sarah Varner.
The best man was Kevin Crawford. The groomsmen were Lewis Lanier, David Raynor, Reese Robertson, Ryan Wenzel and Lacey Williams.
The flower girl was Eleanor Graves Gammon and the ring bearer was Owen Christopher Rodier.
The bride is the granddaughter of Margaret Ashley and the late Floyd E. Ashley of Summerville, South Carolina; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Jet B. Raynor of Waycross, Georgia.
The groom is the grandson of the late Richard Burton and Norma Jean Slayton of Colton, West Virginia; and the late Edward Lee and Mary Christina Crawford of Elkins, West Virginia.
Following a wedding trip to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Summerville.
