Strickland, Carr to wed

Mr. and Mrs. Joel Strickland and Mr. and Mrs. William Daniel Carr Sr. announce the engagement of their children, Miss SallieKate Harberson Strickland of Summerville, SC, and Mr. William Daniel Carr Jr. of Sumter, SC. Miss Strickland is a 2001 graduate of Summerville High School. She is employed by Stallsville Weekday School. Mr. Carr is a 1999 graduate of Summerville High School and a 2006 graduate of Montreat College in Black Mountain, NC. He is employed as Youth Minister at Trinity United Methodist Church in Sumter, SC. The wedding is planned for May 18, 2008 at Gatherings in Dorchester, SC.
