Elizabeth Tait Gaston and Captain Matthew Thomas Carpenter
Gaston, Carpenter engagement announced
Ms. Susan Terry Gaston of Summerville, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dunlap Gaston of Hanahan, SC announce the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Tait Gaston to Captain Matthew Thomas Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Alfred Crank and Mr. and Mrs. William Owen Carpenter of Greenville,SC.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jean Watt Terry and the late Forrest Franklin Terry of Andrews, SC and Mrs. Dora Dunlap Gaston and the late Dr. Frank Patton Gaston of Rock Hill, SC.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. William Levy Carpenter and the late Mrs. Blanche Owen Carpenter and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Albert Wofford of Greenville.
Dr.Gaston is a graduate of the College of Charleston and Captain Carpenter is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. Both are 2007 graduates of the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine. CPT. Carpenter is a dentist in the US Army stationed at Ft. Stewart, Ga.
A summer wedding is planned.
