Location: Dollar General, Orangeburg Road

Date: Nov. 9

Time of day: 8:55 p.m.-9:09 p.m.

Item stolen: Cash

Total value: $350

Incident report details: A man dressed in all black and a ski mask forced his way into the store and made an employee open a safe as he pressed a silver-colored handgun to the neck of another employee; he threatened to shoot if they did not produce the money; after they gave him the money, and bagged it like he asked they were told to the back of the store; they waited 10 minutes and he was gone.

Suspect(s): Described as a black male; 5 feet 10 inches and 160 pounds;

Responding agency: Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office

Type of theft: Burglary

Location: Boone Hill Road (Somerset Apartments)

Date: Nov. 10

Time of day: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Items stolen: Jewelry

Total value: $680

Incident report details: Victim returned home and found front door forced open; the door molding and part of the frame were on the floor; two pairs of earrings were missing from her dresser.

Suspect(s): None

Responding agency: Summerville Police Department

Type of theft: Burglary

Location: Forest Circle (South Main Mobile Home Park)

Date: Nov. 6

Time of day: 8-11 p.m.

Items stolen: Television and DVD player

Total value: $950

Incident report details: Victim returned home and items were missing; his residence appeared to still be secure; the reporting officer found that the back door had been forcibly pulled open and the strike plate was damaged.

Responding agency: Summerville Police Department

Type of theft: Burglary

Location: Pinewood Street (off Ladson Road)

Date: Nov. 11

Time of day: 7:15-10:30 a.m.

Items stolen: Television

Total value: $517

Incident report details: Victim found no signs of forced entry; he said he did not lock the deadbolt on the front door.
