Investigators allege: On June 1, Brown stole eight pallets, valued at $200 each, from Walmart on North Main Street. Store employees saw Brown loading the pallets into the back of a white 1992 Chevrolet pickup. When he was confronted, he got in the truck and fled from the scene. Investigators allege: Joyner cashed a stolen check for $350 on April 1 at Sun Trust Bank on North Main Street. The victim reported to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office that the check was stolen from his vehicle. Joyner’s driver’s license information was written on the check at the time of the transaction. She was positively identified through surveillance video and her driver’s license photo.
