Editor’s note: According to information provided Wednesday by the Summerville Police Department, the following suspects were still at large.

Name: Michael Tyrone Singleton Jr.

Age: 23

Description: Black male, 5’7”, 220 pounds

Last known address: 1851 Old Beech Hill Road #D, Ridgeville

Wanted for: Petit Larceny

Wanted by: Summerville Police Department

Wanted since: Nov. 9, 2009

Investigators allege:  The defendant called up the Rainbow Towing Company and reported that he needed a 1984 Chevrolet pick up truck towed to a recycling company to be sold for scrap. The driver picked up the truck and the defendant and took them to a recycle center, but then the rightful owner of the tick up truck arrived on the scene. The truck was returned to the rightful owner. The defendant was later identified from a photo as the person who said the truck was his and tried to sell it.

Age:  28

Description: Black male, 5’9”, 180

Last known address: 121 Rollison Lane, St. Stephen

Wanted for: Forgery, less than $5,000

Wanted by: Summerville Police Department

Wanted since: May 5, 2008

Investigators allege:  on August 31, 2007, the defendant uttered one counterfeit check for $500 drawn on First Federal of Charleston. When asked about the check, the defendant left the building, leaving behind his South Carolina Identification Card and the check. Signatures were compared and found to be the same. He was caught on surveillance video making the attempt and he was able to cash three other counterfeit checks that same day.
